GIBSON- Mrs. Katherine "Kitty" Maddox Gibson age 83 of Solomon Street Brewton, Alabama passed away Monday morning April 16, 2012 in a Century, Florida nursing facility after a brief illness. She was a native of Brewton, Alabama and a life long resident of East Brewton, Alabama. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Dog Wood Hills Assembly of God Chruch, a former PTA president, she was involved in many school activities, and was a retired School Bus Driver from the Escambia County School System with 28 years of service.

Survivors: (2) Sons- Roland (Brenda) Gibson, Jr. of East Brewton, Alabama Oland (Gail) Gibson of Brewton, Alabama (3) Daughters- Linda Sue (Bobby) Edgar of Castleberry, Alabama Kathy (Elton) Madden of Brewton, Alabama Becky (Lamar) Adkisson of East Brewton, Alabama (1) Brother- Jimmy (Barbara) Maddox of Brewton, Alabama (13) Grandchildren (26) Great Grandchildren (5) Great Great Grandchildren ***Preceded in death by: Great Granddaughter- Morgan Danielle White

Visitation will be held Tuesday night April 17, 2012 from 6 until 8:00 P.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME BREWTON, ALABAMA.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday morning April 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Tommy Quick and Rev. Russ McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery Brewton, Alabama with WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME OF BREWTON, ALABAMA DIRECTING.
